Dr Prassannah Satasivam

Dr Prassannah Satasivam is a consultant urologist with a subspecialty interest in urologic oncology. He has a particular focus on the management of prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques. His practice spans both public and private sectors across several major institutions in Victoria, Australia.

Dr Satasivam completed his medical degree and a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Melbourne, followed by urology training through the Victorian section of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand. He undertook advanced fellowship training in general urology at Monash Health and a prestigious Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) accredited fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Satasivam holds several leadership roles, including Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Urology Research Lead and Training Supervisor at Northern Health, and Lead Reviewer for the Cancer Council’s ‘Understanding Bladder Cancer’ guide.
